Jessica Pare errr....I mean Mad Men is back!

Ok, well I'm gonna take a page from Alyson's book and blog more.  Probably about people when I don't have anything I really want to talk about, so for starter's shout out to my boy Jon Hamm!  I love this guy. He's from St. Louis, and he seems like a good dude.  I imagine that he's the bro's bro.  I feel like I need to be his best friend.  Anyway, you should check out his interview on WTF w/ Marc Maron.  And btw, he was on Jimmy Fallon last week to promote the return of Mad Men, and him and Jimmy had a water war that was beyond hilarious.  Best thing I've seen this week by far.  It's a must watch.

2nd, I am so happy to see Jessica Pare back on television.  I could stare at that woman for hours.  I mean, what's the point of sex if it's not with Jessica....

Last shout out goes to Kiernan Shipka who plays Sally Draper.  She's awesome. (pictured above - middle)  I wish she was my little sister.

What else:  Since I've started my new job I haven't had much time for movies or dvds.  Still gotta see:

Jeff Who Lives at Home - Jason Segel + Ed Helms. Yes, please.

Friends with Kids - Mini Bridesmaids reunion.  Yes, Please.

The Descendents - George Clooney. Oh Hells yes!

and of course The Hunger Games - I'm not a huge fan of books.  Like in general....That is one battle that my inner stupid person has won.

Quickly: Love that Kim K got floured.  Also, the Killing returns next week!  I guess that means Nurse Jackie and The Big C can't be far behind.  Let's go!

And this is definitely burying the lead, but Follow @TheDweck.  She's fucking amazing.

For Trayvon

I'll never understand why George Zimmerman followed Trayvon even though police told him to wait in his car.  I'll never understand how George Zimmerman could see a kid and a hoodie and assume he's up to no good.  I''ll never understand why George Zimmerman confronted a child holding a bag of skittles and some iced tea.  I'll never understand how after Trayvon begged for his life George Zimmerman decided he deserved to die.  I'll never understand how he wasn't arrested.  I'll never understand how Plaxico Burress was sentenced to two years in prison for shooting himself but George Zimmerman walks free.

Dear Trayvon,

I don't really know what to make of what happened on February 26th.  I do know that every time I look at your picture I want to cry.  I see my my cousin lance, my cousin brtiney, my friend jordan, the kids I mentored in middle school, or even me.  I'm so sorry Tray.  I'm sorry I don't have the words to fully articulate the sorrow your death has placed in my heart.  Just know that I've started and stopped writing this three times because I was overwhelmed by my emotions.  You were only 17.  May you rest in peace.  And may your murderer be brought to justice.
